[Korra wanted out. Out of the Avatar House and into somewhere more spacious. She appreciated the kindness of the people from her past offering to let her and Asami stay as long as they liked, but Korra needed to breathe. She needed to be somewhere that didn't have Legendary People or Master Benders everywhere she turned. An inferiority complex began to grow because she was the only Avatar without airbending. It stuck like a thorn in her foot. So she and Asami moved out, and into House 58. It wasn't a big move, and Korra felt weird taking a house all to themselves... but it was probably best to stick near the Gaang, even if Simply Existing was causing emotional problems for each other. Korra and Asami didn't have much to move, but the taller girl insisted on shopping so one can probably find Korra moving interior decorating things into the house, practicing bending outside the house, or even making faces at items in shop windows/her reflection.

When she and Asami have settled in Korra attempts at making a voice post in the solitude of her room. She does her best, but the entry is fail-locked from Asami 30% Filtered. HOW DOES I FILTER. Hopefully Asami isn't looking for a post from Korra and it'll slip by unnoticed.]

Hey, uh... Luceti, could you help me out? There's this guy I really like back home, and he's dating this girl that... I thought was just some prissy, elegant, beautiful girl who was too perfect. But actually - I don't know. She seems pretty cool here, I guess.

It's directly to the west, across the river. It's the big dome-shaped building. Trust me, you can't miss it.

[Twenty minutes later, Sokka is heading inside the dome, expecting her to have arrived first.]

[When he's there he'll find her curiously checking out a snack machine.]

[He'll just head upstairs behind her, peeking around her.]

I've never heard of most of this stuff.

Well, this stuff is just snacks. You can't go wrong with the chocolate stuff. [He moves down to another machine, tapping the glass.] This is for drinks. More sodas. [Another one.] And this has healing stuff. Really weird stuff you drink or eat or put on your wounds. I've used them a few times. You know, when I don't want to bother Katara with the little stuff.

Chocolate? Why don't you pick something and I'll try it?

[He'll take a moment to pick one. Gotta be something he likes too, right? So after the candy dispenses, he'll break her off a piece of a Kit Kat bar, before taking a bite of his own piece.]

See? It's good.

[She takes a bite of that, and while she's chewing-]

Hey, that's not so bad.

See? It's great! People on Earth eat this stuff all the time.

Earth?

Another world which- well, okay, Earth isn't that original of a name. But they're bigger and usually more advanced than us. Tons of people from this place are from there. I think basically there's two major countries, America and Japan. They keep saying there's other ones, but they must be a lot smaller. Japan is definitely one of the biggest ones, since most of the people from Earth are from there. There's more than one version though. Some don't have magic, some are full of it, some have superheroes, and other stuff. Most of it doesn't make much sense and they seem to spend most of their time watching television so they can understand each other better. A lot of their holidays end up being pretty important here, like Christmas. Two of their most important holidays are Halloween and Valentine's, because the Malnosso make a big deal out of making an experiment for them each year.

[Oh. That's a lot. She doesn't know what to say. Maybe that's why there are so many weird people here?]

So, Republic City then. Great.

[Tossing the wrapper into a trash bin, he'll start back downstairs.]

So how does this work? Do I take you back to see something that already happened, or to an empty arena?

[Sokka steps up to the main console. He starts casually pressing things along the touchpad below the screen, as options and screens whiz by. As he 'digs into' the scenario, some images may be familiar.]

I'll just have it make a regular day in Republic City. Do you want to be on a probending team or just watching?

We can just watch- [As much as she'd love to play, she still feels weird about the powercap. Korra hovers over him and the console.]

Can you pick a specific day? Or does it not work like that?

Maybe. Hmm. What do you have in mind?

[He's never tried for a specific day before. Mostly because he doesn't want to use the Dome in some kind of nostalgic way that might make missing home worse.]

Works for me. I'll just... [He messes around with the options and there's a list of different team match ups.] Uh. Any of these look right to you?
